It’s been a hot minute.  Aside from a crazy work schedule and wedding planning, I got knocked out with the flu for a couple weeks.  I would normally just pop back in with Snaps next week, but last weekend was a big one!  It kicked off Friday when one of my closest friends came into town from San Francisco.  We spent the afternoon catching up before heading off to dinner at one of my favorite local restaurants.  Our whole group enjoyed every dish, including a couple desserts we decided to splurge on.  Saturday started off with smoothies and a mani pedi session before we came home to clean up and head out for the day.

Saturday afternoon was spent in a secluded room overlooking the ocean at the Bungalow in Huntington Beach.  I love the Bungalow in Santa Monica so I was super excited when they recently opened a location in Orange County.  It was the perfect setting to get all my girls together, along with my mom and future mother in law, to ask them to be my BRIDESMAIDS!  I love each of these girls so much, they have contributed so much greatness to my life, and I am so proud to have them part of this special time in my life.  I spray painted terracotta pots hot pink and planted fun, mini cacti with a personalized note for each girl.

Sunday we up bright and early to head off for dress shopping!  Our first stop was Panache bridal.  I had very little idea what I was looking for and decided to try on lots of different styles.  They mostly ended up being lace and fitted.  While I thought the dresses were beautiful, and the girls who worked there were so helpful, nothing stuck me as ‘the one’.  After lunch and a glass of wine, we headed to our second and last appointment at Blush bridal.  Even though the store isn’t huge, the selection is great and the girls are fantastic and super helpful.  I am so glad this is where I said Yes to the Dress!!  Tears and all!  The whole process was so special and a lot less stressful than I anticipated.  We wrapped up there, celebrated with a glass of bubbly then headed to the airport to drop off my friend.  Here are some snaps of the weekend.  Hope you enjoy! Xx
