Soothing Summer Smoothie

I usually keep my smoothies basic with banana, berries, and some nut butter.  During the summer though, it’s nice to use seasonal produce to create something quite soothing and fresh.  Cucumbers are awesome for digestion (packed with fiber and water), help cool the body, and are loaded with vitamins and minerals.  Bananas, great source of potassium and fiber.  Pineapple is packed with vitamin C and contains bromelain, which helps the body absorb food nutrients. Soothing Summer Smoothie


  • 1/2 cucumber { skin cut off if not organic }
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup pinapple
  • about 2 tbsp fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • more water to get everything moving


  1. Place all ingredients in Vitamix or other high powered blender. Blend until smooth then enjoy!
